I am so excited to hear that Team RWB – an organization that supports our nation’s veterans by helping integrate them into society through social and physical activity – just announced a partnership with the Travis Manion Foundation.  The Travis Manion Foundation is another organization that assists US veterans, providing emergency assistance, scholarship and other direct financial support when afamily or veteran is in need.  This partnership will focus on this organization’s 9/11 Heroes Run, where Team RWB will help increase registration and help more families of veterans and the victims of 9/11.

“Last year, hundreds of Team RWB members paid tribute to those killed on Sept 11, 2001, by running in various locations all over the country,” says Mike Erwin, Team RWB Founder and Executive Director.  “Partnering with the TMF 9/11 Heroes Run allows our community to honor these men, women and their families through action---this year and for decades to come.”
